Mark Loewen

Founder & Photographer

Hi, I’m Mark! My journey in photo & video production began in the entertainment industry, where I created media for Sony recording artist Tim & The Glory Boys. After multiple tours across North America, I returned to Calgary and launched Forever From Here, a production company focused on weddings and telling great love stories.

Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with countless amazing couples, capturing everything from intimate backyard ceremonies to grand celebrations. Our goal is to create photos and films that not only document the day but also evoke the emotions and unique personalities of each couple.

Outside of weddings, I enjoy exploring different video genres, including visual effects, music videos, and educational content. This variety keeps my creativity flowing and ensures that every project I take on benefits from fresh ideas and perspectives. No matter what stage of planning your wedding you’re in, I'm here to help bring your vision to life!

I’m a videographer who splits his time between weddings and corporate work. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm most likely wrapped up in sports, attending concerts, or lost in a good book. After personally attending over 40 weddings, I've come to believe that what makes each one truly special is the people that you celebrate with. Any time a community comes together to share in the quiet reverence and celebratory party of the occasion is a moment to capture. That love of this unique experience, combined with my joy for this creative work, is what led me to join the Forever From Here team.

My goal is to capture the emotions, moments, and personalities that tell the story of your day. All of the chaos, quiet moments, and everything in between. I'm here to capture it all, so that you can re-live it all… even those details you may have missed.

I’ve been behind a camera for the past 10 years, and for the last year I’ve had the privilege of shooting weddings with the team at Forever From Here. Outside of photography, you’ll usually find me spending time with my wife and daughter, out for a run, or gathered around a table playing board games with friends.

I’ve always been drawn to portraiture and the way photography can preserve genuine emotion and connection. Weddings are full of those moments and I love getting to capture them in a way that feels honest and timeless.
My goal on a wedding day is simple: to bring a sense of calm, fun, and confidence to the experience so couples can fully enjoy every moment together. Whether the moment is big or small, I’ll be there to capture the moments that matter most so that you can treasure them for years to come.

Ryan Hannay

Photographer

With a unique blend of a psychology degree and extensive experience working with children and families, I excel at making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. As someone who is camera shy myself, I specialize in posing individuals who might not feel confident, particularly during large events such as weddings, which can be overwhelming and vulnerable as it's often the first time having professional photos taken.

I take great care to ensure you feel at ease. My editing style is true to tone, representing reality, and I provide a comprehensive range of shots from wide landscape views of the venue to detailed close-ups of the carefully planned details. Above all, my goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident during your photography experience.
