Overview
We first captured Jared and Hannah two months before their wedding day with a Story Session at Crescent Falls — a chance to hear how they met and share in their excitement for what was ahead. On the day itself, they exchanged vows in a historic church, took portraits at the Alberta Legislature, and celebrated the night away at Coloniale Golf Course.

Edmonton & Beaumont, Alberta
We spent the afternoon wandering Crescent Falls Provincial Recreation Area until we settled on a secluded walkway overlooking the canyon for the private interview.
Trinity Lutheran Church had a private stairwell for private vows and beautiful wooden double doors for a grand processional. The balcony and wide side aisles allowed photo and video to stay unobtrusive while having an ideal vantage point.
The couple had their first date at the Alberta Legislature, so we re-visited for their couple sessions using the fountains and the steps as a dramatic backdrop.
The reception took place at the Coloniale Golf Course with a bright, sunny bridal party session and a late night flash photography session outside.

Overview
Selena & Juan were married at The Norland Historic Estate, a venue that instantly elevates any wedding celebration. From the first look on the private balcony to the ceremony beneath the boughs of a gently swaying elm tree , this wedding was both luxurious and intimate.

The Norland Historic Estate
The large balcony on the front of the estate served as the perfect location for private vows. We coordinated two photographers, one tucked away on the balcony and the other on the ground, to capture the moment from all angles.
An outdoor ceremony on the open lawn beside the estate. The arch behind the couple draped with silk was gently blowing in the breeze. The branches over head swayed as the couple exchanged their public vows.
The hall itself is a beautiful open space with a bar in the corner and another room for serving the buffet style meal, complete with a carving station.

Overview
Steph & Est were married at a local campground and community hall. Their guests were encouraged to camp and the ceremony took place on the lawn out front. Their personalities were front and centre in their vows and even more so as they got on stage and DJ’d for their guests during the reception.

Red Deer, Alberta
The lawn was the perfect setting for what felt like a backyard wedding. The trailers of all the campers surrounding the ceremony site and everyone felt like friends, but the cherry on top was the “Just Married” sign tied onto a motorized jeep driven by the ring-bearer and flower girl.
The local community hall was the setting with a bar and DJ booth to keep the party going. The couple had a local BBQ joint cater and the food matched the vibes perfectly. They rounded the night off with keg stands on the patio, the bride leading the charge.

Overview
This gorgeous small town wedding was captured by two photographers and one videographer. The bridal suite down the lane allowed for perfect getting ready photos, while the reception venue and the outdoor pavilion was the perfect backdrop for the reception, and a touching dance between father and daughter.

Sundre, Alberta
Sunali and Logan got married in a traditional Catholic ceremony in the town of Sundre.
Diamond in the Rough has been designed specifically for weddings with a log cabin for the bridal party and couple to get ready in and a beautiful reception hall. Donkeys, horses, and green pastures provide the backdrop for fun, outdoor photography.
